Christie’s Auctions Another Artwork Series as NFT

British auction house Christie’s will be selling 24 pieces of art as NFTs in a sale called the “Cartography of the Mind.” Participants of the auction include Beeple, and the artwork focuses on psychedelic experiences.

• The NFT artwork sale will run from Jun. 21 to Jun. 28.
• Those participating include Beeple, Sarah Meyohas, Refik Anadol, Mad Dog Jones, and IX Shells.
• The auction is an online only auction that will benefit the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

What it Means:

• NFTs are finding more ways to establish benefits for the real world, roping in investors who want good artwork but are also willing to contribute towards a good cause. In the traditional artwork, Christie’s is among those pioneering the sale of NFTs.
